We are excited to announce the groundbreaking of a truly transformational project in Los Angeles. Mata Construction has officially broken ground on a new 27,000-square-foot wellness and community center for The TransLatin@ Coalition, a first-of-its-kind hub dedicated to empowerment, health, and vital community services.
Founded in 2009 by Latina immigrants, The TransLatin@ Coalition is the largest trans-led organization in the United States, now nationally recognized with representation in 10 states and providing critical services to TGI individuals across Los Angeles.
This new building will bring wellness programming, housing support, workforce development, and advocacy under one roof: creating a safe, affirming, and empowering environment for the community.
